What internet speed is needed for DIRECTV by internet. I have att 24mbps and until fiber is available that’s the best I can do unless switching to Cox

IMO That should be perfectly fine for a couple devices simultaneously. You may face issues when streaming with several devices though.

Anything reliably faster than 10Mbps download speed should be fine.

This is what Directv says about internet speeds for streaming their service.
"Home Wi-Fi® or wired connection: Speeds of 8Mbps per stream or more deliver an optimal viewing. So, if you're watching DIRECTV STREAM on 10 devices at home, we recommend a minimum speed of 80Mbps. If you're using AT&T Internet, we recommend the Internet 100 plan or higher for watching on up to 10 streams." Hope this helps you.
