iPad Status Bar

You posted in the DirecTV Satellite forum. I'll move to the Stream forum.

Have you tried deleting and reinstalling the DirecTV Stream App?

Uninstall / Reinstall - did not work.

We want to better understand your concern. Is this happening when you're streaming or just when you are in the app overview?

We would appreciate more details about what's going on, so we can work on this.

While watching the app, those items are visible across the top of the screen. Those items are not visible when using other apps (ie Netflix). 

I see the same thing on my iPad. But that status bar along the top does not impede onto the video area. So why is this a problem?
