Is there an available list of supported SONOS devices
I am trying to manually my remote control. I am having trouble in getting it to recognize my SONOS ARC soundbar. Is there a list of SONOS supported devices? IT recognizes the SONOS brand but not the ARC model

Hi, @aglhunt. We don't have a list of sound bars that are compatible with DIRECTV devices. However, you can check this link How to reprogram your DIRECTV remote control | DIRECTV Support to learn how to set up your remote to operate any external sound bars.

I had already followed the instructions. My problem is that when I enter ARC for the model name of my SONOS soundbar it states that id does not recognize that model.
It would seem that it is validating the model name against a list.
If I could see the list I could then verify the issue.
Hence my initial question

We're furhter investigating this issue and apologize for the delay. Could you please let us know which device you are attempting to connect to your sound bar? Is it a DIRECTV Gemini Air device? John, DIRECTV Community Specialist

Thanks for confirming your device. Try enabling the HDMI-CEC feature to see if it fixes the soundbar issue. To do this, go to settings > System > Remote & Devices > Program your Remote > HDMI-CEC and turn it on. Update us on the results.

Thanks, I did as suggested. The remote works with the soundbar.
The issue I was trying to resolve is how to set up the soundbar manually. Hence the request for a list of of SONOS devices that is recognized by directv/gemini air.
The underlying issue that I have is, when I turn TV off and on, the volume is muted or set to a zero level.
I resolved similar issues with a SONOS PLAYBAR by setting up the remote manually. I was hoping that I could do the same with the SONOS ARC soundbar. I am unable to do this because I receive a message stating it does not recognize ARC as a SONOS model

Glad that you can now adjust the volume of your soundbar with the DIRECTV remote. Please note that not all devices are compatible, and we do not have a shareable list. Charles, DIRECTV Community Specialist
