Latest version number for Directv streaming app for my Samsung tv?

Why? Are you currently having issues with the app? The app on Samsung TVs is very poor and I highly suggest you go out and get a Fire Stick, Roku, or Apple TV. Additionally, you could think about the DIRECTV STREAM Osprey Box which has a handy remote and extraordinary performance, speeds, and response times. 

The channel guide is locking up, otherwise seems to be working fine.  Works fine on my ipad as well.  Am just trying to figure out if the app on my tv needs to be updated.

Likely not. I suggest you try to reinstall it and unplug/replug back in your Samsung TV. Otherwise, as stated before, Samsung TV’s perform very poorly with the app.

is there not a simple place I could see what the current app version number is, the one installed says 3.32.32502?

I have the same question and to suggest buy another tv is ludicrous. Apples App Store is v4.0.43

why for Samsung it’s v3.32.32502

B/c apps are not all the same version number. Each device app is different.

No one suggested getting another TV.  There was the suggestion to get an external streaming device to plug into the TV, like an Amazon FireStick, which is not a huge investment.  (The HD FireStick is currently $30, the 4K version is $35.)
