Lg issue
Hello,
Like many others, I wasn't informed that LG TVs weren't compatible with DIRECTV Stream when I signed up. I'm really disappointed, especially since most other providers support LG. Adding to this frustration is the ongoing issue with Disney channels. It's frustrating that you haven't developed an app for LG TVs like your competitors have.

What do you mean by "not compatible"? Granted, LG TVs and many other brands do not have a native DirecTV Stream App. But those native apps are inferior to a standalone streaming device, like a DirecTV Stream, Roku or FireStick.

Before you sign up for any TV service, you need to check that service’s list of supported devices rather than assuming support - they all have web pages that include their particular list. DTV Stream’s is here.
And asking for features here in the forums is almost certainly not effective. There is no “you” here - just other customers. The people who decide things like that don’t - as best we can tell - read the forums or get reports about what is said. People have suggested - I don’t know how accurately - that DTV people who could be more useful for that may follow the DTV Facebook and Twitter accounts (links at the bottom of this page).
As far as getting a native LG app - I certainly don’t know their plans but I wouldn’t hold my breath. They haven’t added a new supported device in quite a while, and to be honest, in my opinion there are a lot of improvements higher on the priority list for their seemingly fairly limited development resources. And in general, the experience is that DTV apps on outboard devices (Roku, FireTV, AppleTV, their own Gemini device) just work better than any of smart TV apps (which I personally find true not just for the DTV app but most apps) and at least most Rokus and FireTV Firesticks are pretty inexpensive.
