Local News App not in catalog

The Play Store for the Gemini box is not the full Google Play Store version. It's just a subset that is supported by the box.

Who knows. I would contact the broadcaster and inquire.

Thank you.   I am checking the Google Play Store via my DirecTV Gemini device. And I am logged in to my Google account. As noted previously, I see many many other local channel news apps available to load, but not WIVB News 4. I have already successfully loaded another local news app, WINK, which is based in southwest Florida. I also loaded another Buffalo based app, the ABC affiliate WKBW 7. 

Since the WIVB News 4 app is in the Google Play Store when I look on the Web, why isn't available to DirecTV Stream?

Ok. I reset the Gemini box. Still can’t find WIVB News 4 app
