Pause problematic
Pause on the DirecTV Stream box is very problematic.
1. Pausing more than a couple of minutes causes the box to reset the channel being paused to live with no buffered video.
2. Pausing multiple times causes the box to switch to the latest app used on the box.
3. Pausing multiple times in a short time period causes the box to completely reset.
Is anyone else experiencing these problems?

Your solution doesn't work. Tried it on 3 boxes. I have seen multiple reports of this problem but no response from a moderator that they acknowledge there is an issue.

Came looking for a solution to this problem. Tired of getting sent back to live TV every time I pause a recording for a few minutes. This never happened before about a week ago. Could leave paused for quite awhile and be where I left off. Very annoying. Have been thinking about other options since the cost has more than tripled since I signed up. Cable maybe cheaper now!!!

After a few minutes of pause mine either goes HBO max or prime video. Very annoying.
Several other strange issues happen as well (posted earlier). Looking at exiting DirecTV portion as well.

All I want is my show or game I’m watching to stay paused long enough to smoke a cigarette or take a (Edited per community guidelines) or go grab another beer!!! Every time I sit back down to resume which is usually 10 minutes or less it’s back to live tv. It (Edited per community guidelines) me off. If y’all can jack the (Edited per community guidelines)ing price overnight I’m pretty (Edited per community guidelines)ing sure y’all can fix this pause issue!

Yes and it’s very frustrating. DIRECTV needs to fix this asap. I can easily go back to YouTubertv or Hulu tv or even cable than deal with it.
