Peacock app on the Gemini Air device

Can someone tell me if the even app is supported? I've read it is and it isn't. I'm sure people that have tried to use it get the "Something has gone wrong, please use peacock on a more secure device." Is there a way this can be fixed or am I stuck using it on my Sony/Samsung TV's? I'm new to DirectTV so please excuse my noobness. I'm learning.

It's connected to my Sony Bravia TV. I already have a subscription to peacock. I should be able to use it. I like to know why the app does not work when it basically was preinstalled. Everything else works just that app and would like to know why.

Everything is up to date. cleared cache, rebooted, etc. Is there a way to completely uninstall the app? all I can do is delete the updates.
