“Please wait” buffering on DIRECTV STREAM

I’ve been trying to install my DIRECTV STREAM box for 2 days and after multiple reboots, resets and combinations of unplugging and plugging I still get “Please wait” on my screen with a buffering circle. Can someone help?

We're happy to help with your AT&T TV Box set up! Just a few questions, did you follow the setup guide that came in the box and if you did, what step did you get to?

 

Also, are you getting any error codes when it buffers? You can also find more help to set up your AT&T TV device and remote. Please let us know more details, so we can better assist you.

I’m having the same issue. It’s been two days and multiple restarts. After the device started/finished updates, it’s stuck on “please wait”
