Program remote when tv brand not available

Hey guys,thanks for response. Still have a problem and it is crazy! So I was able to pair Gemini remote with my Leotachi TV. But when I did so, the remote would no longer control the Gemini streaming device!! I had to unpair TV and re-pair remote to streaming device to get it to work again! Very frustrating that I cannot get remote to control both TV and Gemini streaming device. Any ideas??,

Gemini devices may have more than one remote control paired to them; however, each remote control can only be paired to one TV/device at a time and cannot be interchanged without reprogramming. DIRECTV appreciates your understanding.
