I'm afraid the back light duration on the remote is not adjustable. I wish it would stay on longer, too.

Sweetie LIKES if totally dark so she can snore in peace. HAAAA1 That leaves me to fumble with remote. Does universal remote have back light that will stay on longer? Thank you., James.

Universal remotes may have a longer backlight, but they may not have all the features that the Gemini Remote has, like voice commands.
