REMOTE CHANGES TO APPS AND FREEZES ON OFF

streaming i guess. new remote has never done this before. like a virus

Hi @dearth74ab, let's get your remote functions back to normal.

Most of the problems with a DIRECTV STREAM remote can be fixed by setting up a factory reset:

- Press and hold the Home and Exit keys simultaneously, until the LEDs on both sides display red.
- Press 981 on the remote control.
- The LEDs will turn Off and then blink blue 3 times on both sides.
