Remote for DirecTV Stream on Fire Stick?
Is there a better remote that can be paired with a Fire Stick that has more functionality than the measly Fire Stick Remote? I miss the number pad and dedicated functions incorporated into a full size remote like the one that comes with DTV satellite service. Heck, even a bluetooth keyboard would be a big step if there is a cheat sheet with keyboard shortcuts!

No. The remote functions are dictated by limitations of the FireStick. You would need a DirecTV Stream (C71K) box to get those extra functions.

Dtv Stream box comes with a remote that has numbers to change channels. The remote also has shortcut buttons for the recordings list, guide, previous channel, record button and a voice search button.
