Remote loses connection
I've had DirecTV Streaming for less than a year. From the first week, the remotes (I have 3 for the family) will lose their connection and not work unless I go through the whole remote set up again. DirecTV even sent me a new remote and it does the same thing. I've had the box replaced recently for another issue and I still have the remote issue.
What happens is I go to do a function and press a button and the remote flashes 2 blue lights. I have to clear the remote settings on the remote, restart the box and then reprogram the remote. Between the 3 remotes, this happens to at least one a week.
I checked the firmware and they are all the same and the box said it updated the 3 of them. Two of them have ATT on the back and one has DirecTV on the back.
I've called DirecTV and all they do is walk me through how to connect them even after I tell them I know how to do that.
Any suggestions?

Each remote is paired to a specific box. Are you sure you aren't occasionally trying to use the incorrect remote?

I only have 1 box and 3 remotes so that each member of the family has one by them in the living room
