return streaming devices
I called Direct TV twice to return 2 streaming devices, I was told the first time to take them to an AT & T store and found out at the store, they don't take them back??? I then called again and was told I would receive an email with a shipping label within 24 hours.. this was 8 days ago, I haven't gotten the label, so I waited in case they were actually sending me a return box kit... nothing and then I get an email today stating that it's too late to return the devices??? (Edited per community guidelines). I have no contract and both devices were paid for in full?

A return shipping label should have been sent with your box when Dtv sent it to you. Mine had one back in Sept 2021 when I ordered service. Just looked, it's still inside the shipping box my device came in.

I kept both boxes just in case it they didn't work for my uncle but there was no label in either box or the large box that they both came in that day.

I just want to return them to get him his over $100 back, he ended up with Direct TV via satellite because he couldn't get used to using his Roku TV's to get to the streaming. We actually had the satellite appointment made for 7 days after we received the boxes and the technician cancelled that appointment after he waited for 3 hours and then came a week later finally to set it up for him.

I don't think you can return DirecTV Stream (C71K) boxes. You bought them.

The 2 people that I talked to at Direct TV Stream have never said that, I'd have to look but if it was cancelled within 14 days I could return them for a refund. If you don't buy them then you are stuck in a contract, so it sounds like a lose/lose scenario.
