Roku and Directv Stream Box
I cannot download the Directv Stream app on my LG smart TV so will need to get a Roku or something similar. I wanted to use the Directv Stream voice activated remote but I have read it only works with the Directv Stream Box. Can I still use the box (or will it work) so can use the remote even if I have to use Roku for the app.

The Directv Streaming box remote will only work with the Directv Streaming Box it is not compatible to use with a Roku Device. But if you need to get a device to be able to stream I would recommend getting a refurbished Directv Streaming box for $49.99 you get a 1-year warranty and they are comparable to the Roku but even though you can use voice activation with Roku you cannot use the voice part while in the Directv Streaming App through Roku.
