Samsung Galaxy View incompatible with Directv Stream app

I have 2 - Samsung Galaxy Views (2017 model) that were purchased only to use ATT Now/Directv Stream. I use in both homes I own as the only "TV" to watch. After the update to Directv Stream, it says app is no longer compatible with device. Is this temporary? Permanent? If so, it negates my need for the service and leaves me with 2 expensive paperweights. Anyone with further information?

Hello Chemsales! Here to help you. Let me share with you a link with more details about compatible devices: https://direc.tv/3n25OeE
Here is also a troubleshooting you can do: https://direc.tv/3l9BtID
1. Check for app updates in your app store. If an update is available, install it and restart your device.
2. Check for device software updates and install.
3. Close and restart the  DIRECTV STREAM app.
4. Reboot your phone or tablet.
5. Uninstall and reinstall the DIRECTV STREAM app.
Re-launch the DIRECTV STREAM app and try again.

ridiculous. I myself own (2) galaxy view tablets and both have been shut out of DIRECTV APP.

This tablet was an exclusive ATT / DIRECTV tablet with DIRECTV built into the operating System. It was sold under the DIRECTV promotion. Why in the world would ATT lock us out?

The app opens up and then requires update.
Update opens in Play Store to show non compatible with your device

Please fix. Again this is a ATT DIRECTV tablet
SM-T677A  / Galaxy View

The app is built into the OS. Can not uninstall or do anything related.
As of now, we have a built in DTV app that does nothing

Can you download the app? If not, then it is no longer supported.
