Hey @gorque. To program your DIRECTV remote to control your sound system, go to Settings > System > Remote & Devices > Program Your Remote > Select the soundbar you want to add and follow the prompts to finish. John, DIRECTV Community Team

Yes, here's how to control your TV with the DIRECTV Gemini device and remote. Follow these steps:
Press and hold the Rewind (<) and Fast Forward (>) buttons together.
The blue LEDs on the remote will scan back and forth.
When paired, the LEDs will blink blue twice.
