Stream Box - Location by Billing Address or IP address

We split our time between two houses (2 states - FL & GA), and want to set our "home location" at our house in Florida, but our billing zip code is in Georgia.

Does the Directv Stream service when using the Stream boxes determine the default home location based upon the billing code (not what I want to do), or the IP address of the internet service?, or can I set it manually on the streaming box menu?

Thanks in advance -

You can manually set the home location of the box in the settings. Be aware that you can only set the location 4times a year. After the 4th, that setting become the home for the balance of the year.

Actually, it is pretty unclear how they decide your "home" location, especially if you use commodity streamers rather than their bespoke device.  Initially it was based purely on your billing address.  At a later point they documented the "home network" as everything sharing the (external) IP address of the first TV streamer that signed into the service.  I'm not sure if they explicitly document it now.  As noted, they do make mention of being able to set the location in their streaming device, but it isn't clear how that affects any other devices (including other of their devices).  It would be really nice if they specified the behavior unequivocally.
