Stream Box

My mother is moving into an assisted living facility in the same zip code.  We already have plenty of boxes b/c that is what she knows how to use but will one of them work at her facility.  So we would have our normal 6 at home and one at the facility?  Will it work when I connect to Wi-Fi and if not what do I need to do to get it up and running?  THANK YOU

Hi there, thanks for reaching out. DIRECTV Stream boxes require a Wi-Fi connection to work. Yes, the extra DIRECTV STREAM box you give her will work at her facility, given it has a stable Wi-Fi connection. The limit for maximum streams for any location other than the home location is three. Since your mother's nursing home would only be using one of those 'away-from-home' streams, this will work just fine.
