Thank you, Juan. I went through all the steps again and no joy. The remote does work to adjust volume on the sound bar, but does not turn the sound bar on or off. I still need to use the Vizio sound bar remote to turn it on or off. I’d appreciate any ideas. —Bob

Hi @Hosco6, thanks for keeping us updated!

Let's try a different troubleshooting: Turn on and off the Streaming device with the remote control you're using with the Vizio.

Have you tried this before? Also, let us know if you're referring to the TV sound bar or to your AT&T TV device's.

Thanks Laura. I have a Vizio TV with a Vizio sound bar. When I had DIRECTV satellite (last week) the DIRECTV satellite remote controlled both the TV and the sound bar, including powering both of them on and off. Now using the DIRECTV Stream remote and controlling all the same things including volume up/down, EXCEPT powering the sound bar on and off. I now need to use the Vizio sound bar (not TV) remote to power the sound bar on and off, because the DIRECTV Stream remote will not power it on or off. It worked with the DIRECTV satellite remote; should work with the DIRECTV Stream remote, no? Thanks again —

@Hosco6 thanks for sharing more details about what you've been experiencing.

Currently our remote controls are not compatible with functions other than the DIRECTV Stream device's. This mean that both remote controls will be necessary to make sure that we can use every feature; one for your TV and one for your device.

Let us know if you have any other doubts or concerns, we would love to help!
