It is in fact the 3820R the app is not available. I was hoping for guidance as to when or if it would be available. I literally bought this just for directv stream, because the apple tv app is terrible. FF/rew is nearly useless. My older roku, in a different room, works better, so i got another roku. It didnt occur to me that directv wouldnt be ready for it, as other apps clearly are.
I was able to get it, but oddly required an account change. I disconnected it from my account and added it to my wife’s (where it should have been all along, I’d forgotten). In the transfer process, dtv stream was one of the options in the setup flow.
Lerhaps something about my account — maybe an inactive payment method — prevented it?

If you can not download the app then the device is not supported. Supported devices are listed here
Not sure of the model you have but if its a older model that is no longer supported then I doubt it will ever be again. You may just need to upgrade.

I see the app in the Roku store with my Roku's. It should be there for your device. Not sure why you are not seeing it. Search for "DIRECTV STREAM".
