your dvr playlist is currently unavailable out of home- how do I get my stream to work at my new address.

Just to confirm, are we referring to DIRECTV Satellite service? or is it DIRECTV STREAM service?

You posted in the DirecTV Stream forum. If you have DirecTV Stream service then you should be able to access your recordings from anywhere using a streaming device.

If you have DirecTV Satellite service, then the message is correct. You cannot access your DVR's recordings unless you're connected to your home network. You need to download recordings to your phone/tablet for viewing outside of your home network.

Is it possible that a new router would make the system believe I am no longer at the assumed home location-- since I just moved.

In case this is regarding the DIRECTV STREAM service, it's an easy fix. All we need to do is update the Home-network. Here you can find the steps to do that. If you have more questions please let me know, we're here for you.
