You’ve reached streaming capacity
I’m trying to watch on a roku app and my boyfriend is trying to watch from his PC in the other room. It will not allow both of them to run at the same time? How do I fix this?? What are we doing wrong. Both are on the same internet network. Thanks!!

Is that the error you are receiving? Sounds like you are at your bandwidth capacity. How fast is your internet? Have you run a speed test to see what the bandwidth speed is?

Hello, we can work on a fix here. Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall the app? You can also clear cookies and cache to get this solved. Please keep us posted!.

Spent an hour on chat yesterday over the same error message. Could not get anything useful or even a basic answer of them defining what their limit is or how can I manage it. The hapless first rep passed it off to a "supervisor" who was equally clueless. AT&T Customer service has always been abysmal for their phone service as well as this streaming thing. The thing is that the product itself works well, as long as nothing goes wrong. You may have better luck asking lord google. They ended up trying to upsell me to some "newer" version with "unlimited" streams--still don't know if a stream is an app in use or devices with the app on it. Can't even find a way to see what this newer product is! When they can't even make that easy, you know they are truly hopeless! Good luck!

Hey @KenJaz. Did you try to use another browser/device? You can also take a look here for streaming limit errors.

@KenJaz, Unlimited In-Home is a feature that allows you streaming at the same time any amount of compatible devices on your in-Home network and up to 3 on the go. You just need to make sure they are connected to your home network. In the other hand I'd like to give an apologize for the experience you had, we'll be forwarding your feedback so we can improve our service.

No error code. Literally just says you’ve reached your streaming capacity. Please log off your other device. The other device is a PC run in another room in the house, on the same network. If I log off the PC in the other room then I can log into the TV in the living room which is also on the same network.

I have a few questions for you about the issue that you have been having with the streaming limit error. 1) Have you set your home network on your Roku device? 2) How many TVs do you have and what devices are you using to stream your Directv Streaming service?

@Tiger593 I would assume it’s my home network. It’s the only network it’s ever been connected to? I have 1 TV that I stream on daily, Then I have a PC that pulled up straight from the website. They both work until you try and use them together then it’s a no go. Only one at a time

So you do not have more than 1 TV that you use to stream or any other devices besides the computer? And does this happen all the time and have you ever been able to stream both at the same time? It does not sound like you have ever set your home network. I would try setting up your home network. When you have your Roku on and you are in the Directv, Streaming app go into settings you access this by pressing the down arrow, and then when the watch now screen opens you will need to go all the way over to the right to the thing that looks like a gear press the ok button then where it says preferences click ok on that then go down to where it says home settings and press ok then click on set new home location this will make sure that your home wifi/internet network will be considered you home location and hopefully this will fix the error that you have been receiving.

DirecTV Stream does not use the "home" settings for home network settings on Roku and Fire Sticks. That field is used for marketing by Roku and Amazon. In fact, those devices do not even have location services. For those devices without location services, the service uses the IP address of the device and the billing zip code as "home". If you are traveling, if the service can not identify your location, then the default is your home based.

@bcbsncjlj I’ve been in the same location. Suddenly it won’t let me run more than one stream at a time. I haven’t changed a thing.
