The only way to track a receiver is if you took the return box to the post office and they gave you a tracking number but that will only tell you that it was delivered but not if DTV has scanned it into the system yet. If you took it to a UPS/FedEx store and they scanned it in then the receipt you where given is the proof you returned it since UPS/FedEx bulks ships them back to DTV there is no way to track it.
