Help with ESPN Unlimited
I'm a Direct tv satellite customer. I have been having an issue with Espn Unlimited. I was able to activate it to my account a few weeks ago; no problem. But a few days ago it was somehow removed/cancelled and I lost access to the subscription. This was part of the big rollout to the satellite customers after they did it for the ones that have the streaming service. Because Technical/Digital Assistance could not figure out what was going on, they had to forward it to the back end office to fix it. Do these kind of issues get resolved, or do I need to just change my tv package, or subscribe to the Espn Unlimited as a standalone app? I hope this issue is able to get solved ok; it's been very frustrating.

Hi. After three different times this issue keeps happening. I did an AI search on Google concerning this and it says this is a known issue that keeps happening, but only with some satellite customers because of the roll-out. I'd like to get this issue fixed permanently.

Hi. They did issue a service ticket, and the issue was seemingly resolved last night because I was able to see Espn subscription in the Espn app. However, I just checked it again this morning and it has been removed again. At this point I am frustrated 😩as to why this keeps happening. At this point I think it's because I'm a satellite customer and may need to switch to streaming...

Hi. Yes I’m still needing further assistance. I did a chat with ESPN last night. They said my subscription is showing canceled on their side. They said since this is third party, I need to get DirecTV to reauthenticate and get the subscription reactivated. I guess by doing that the system will cancel the subscription and generate a new activation link to be sent to me since the one I currently have isn’t working correctly…..

I’ve had mine cancelled 4 times since the November rollout to satellite customers. I’m a tech person. I understand it’s going to be issues with a major tech rollout to thousands of customers. My thing is; take responsibility and have a plan to fix the issue. And don’t have the customer have to call or chat with Disney + and ESPN when it’s not the customers fault.

It looks like it’s a glitch on the DirectTV side if your a satellite customer and there’s any changes to your package like a receiver added or a credit or promotion is added, this can automatically trigger the cancellation of the ESPN unlimited according to Google AI search.

Yes Rizza I agree this should not keep happening; especially since I'm not making any changes to my account/tv package. I'd just like to either get it permanently fixed or just go to another package.

I just opened a Forum Question on this same subject. It is most frustrating as neither side admits error, though it's clear it's a DirecTV issue. They clearly cancelled my ESPN Unlimited but every tech shows it as Active. I had to buy Unlimited on my own dime.
