Prorated Billing Refund Not being Sent

I cancelled my DirecTV on 6/19/2021. My billing cycle is from 6/13/2021 to 7/12/2021. I should be getting a prorated refund of approximately $73.00. My payments are processed through CenturyLink as a packaged deal. AT&T stated that the refund check went back to CenturyLink. I checked with CenturyLink. CenturyLink stated that they never received any refund check from DirecTV. DirecTV also said the refund check was for $97.67 - my full payment. When has a company ever refunded a full payment for a prorated timeframe - NEVER! DirecTV even stated that the 6/13/2021 to 7/12/2021 payment was for May 2021. Don't bother talking to customer service reps or their supervisors. They talk so fast, offer so many excuses, and you can't understand what these people are saying - a complete round around! Hey DirecTV produce the refund check image that was "sent" to CenturyLink!

Any suggestions on getting my refund?

DIRECTV does not refund partial months, so if you're expecting a refund for the period 6/19 through 7/12, you will be disappointed.  (Unless you live in one of those few locations where they are required to...)

If CenturyLink wants to give you that money, that's fine, but DIRECTV won't be.

No pro-rated final bill unless you live in California, New York or Illinois.

Since you had combined billing what the reps are seeing as a "refund " isn't a refund at all, it's your payment being sent to CenturyLink
