711 error all the time no matter weather
My hd DVR receiver keeps getting the 711
error all day every day even when it isn’t raining. The genies I have never get the error. I’ve attached a picture of one dish setting. Does it matter that I ran the test through a receiver that isn’t getting the error?

I forgot to mention that when this error is on the tv you can still see the picture behind it perfectly clear.

Those are to low, they should be in the 80s. Receivers are made to fall in a range of sensitivity so this one is more sensitive then the Genie.

Does it mean it’s the. Receiver or a dish alignment problem?

Most likely dish alignment. Call DirecTV and request a service visit.
