Deleting DVR Recordings

OK, I am officially tired of this nonsense.

I go to delete recorded episodes of a show, and this interface is TOTAL GARBAGE. I've been very patient, waiting for you bozos to fix this. I cannot believe after all these years I STILL HAVE TO WRITE THIS.

Since I have to delete EACH EPISODE INDIVIDUALLY, I start at the bottom and begin the long task of clearing individual episodes.

Delete the episode. Conform that yes, I want to delete the episode. Wait for the list to reset and hope it doesn't explode. Rinse and repeat.

I delete two, and the entire show disappears from the list. The episodes are still there taking up space, they just don't show up in the list anymore.

I switch around, go to the movie list, then the tv show list, and the show finally reappears.

I start AGAIN down at the bottom, get one or two deleted, SAME (Editado segᅢᄎn las pautas del foro) THING.  The whole show disappears, but still taking up space.

I get it to show up again, go all the way back down to the bottom, start deleting, and NOW IT'S DELETING ALL OF THE EPISODES. I'm sitting here watching the available space slowly climb as it scrubs nearly 50 episodes of the program. All of them.

IF I HAD WANTED ALL THEM DELETED, I WOULD HAVE DELETED THE WHOLE SHOW FROM THE TOP MENU.

#1) After all these years, why in the bloody blue blazes does this interface STILL choke on simple tasks??

#2) Why in all that's holy can't we MARK EPISODES FOR DELETION??? I mean, what century are we in??

#3) Does NO ONE at DirecTV know how to program a user interface? Do you test these AT ALL? Do you EVER fix the broken bits?

I should be able to comfortably manage to delete the episodes I want to delete without this silly thing choking on it, I shouldn't have to take an hour to do it, and I shouldn't have to worry that this thing is going to screw and up and DELETE EVERYTHING.

Now, the whole show is gone because this thing is programmed so poorly it cannot do simple maintenance tasks.

And there is literally no way to contact DirecTV via email. If I don't have Twitter or Facebook, I have to call them or deal with that moronic Chat AI. And this is their idea of customer service.

For THIS I pay over $200 a month.

That’s how the interface has been for ages now. As this is a problem customers just like you can’t resolve, your only solution is calling and recommending they make a few changes to recordings. Since DIRECTV was launched, the only way to troubleshoot service was call.
