Diagnostic code 59 - 272
Run system test because small box keeps going black screen. Solved recurring problem several times for a couple weeks. Now test returns the subject code. Next day only one box (of two) will show any broadcast, even if tuned to the same channel. Any solutions? Nobody seems to list 59 or 272.

the 272 is irrelevant,it just tells a tech which piece of the code is reporting therror. The 59 is the error code, anI have no idea what it means.Not in any ofmy lists.

After the dvr box froze up 2x and then rebooted by itself after I locked the small box up by repeating the same Menu path on the small box, followed by two info tests freezing, then my reboot of dvr box, both are working normally for now. Confident it is temporary for a day at best.
