DirectTV service with a different ISP need to run ethernet

For some further details My Wi-Fi Stuck big time.

After doing some research i got some MOCA devices to run to my tv upstairs (smart tv) i tried the power version which sucked big time. When I ran the moca devices It ended up with my DIRECTV loosing the signal.

I disconnected the one where the signal comes in and splits, and the tv came right back up So I'm wondering if there is an issue at the point of entry. I started to look at deca since it's DIRECTV but was told by a couple people that shouldn't matter. I'm in the IT industry so I'm pretty proficient with this equipment but I'm finally stumped.

Any help would be appreciated.

What are all of your receiver models? Is there a DECA connected directly to the SWM splitter?

“When I ran the moca devices It ended up with my DIRECTV loosing the signal.”

How exactly did you run these MoCA devices? If you used DIRECTV splitters and runs that’s a no-go. You need to run your own cabling.

What exactly did you disconnect? I’m confused because disconnecting a DECA doesn’t affect the DIRECTV signal to receivers being it has its own dedicated coaxial port on the splitter which connects the whole system to the internet by Ethernet to your router.

If you're using your DirecTV satellite coax cables with a commercial MOCA networking device, that won't work. You can't share your internet that way.
