Directv and HDMI Splitter Compatability?

My old SharpVision XV-Z20000 projector doesn't like a 1080P signal that all my other projectors, Runco, Marantz, and JVC, have no problem with. The signal is going from my Directv to a Denon AVR and then to a EZCOO 1x4 splitter. The splitter is designed to take a 4K signal and down-rez it to 1080P. As I said, the signal works on all the other projectors but not the SharpVision. A photo of what shows on the screen is below. It's probably some kind of mismatch with the RGB/YUV formats I assume but changing those in the menu doesn't fix it. If I eliminate the splitter the problem goes away. Also, my other video sources, Shield TV, Firestick, and a Panasonic BR player work fine. Only the Directv stream/signal doesn't work. So their is something different about the DTV signal. Can it be changed in any way to perhaps be compatible with the splitter?

My guess is that it's an HDCP copy protection issue.

The other sources work fine and they are HDCP based. So that's not it. Is there any way in the DTV menu to adjust the tech specifics of the video stream, except for resolution?
