DIRECTV Gemini Air not connecting to bluetooth

Hi there! Our goal is that you can fully enjoy all the features of the Gemini Air. To fix this issue, you can try resetting your device by following the instructions provided at this link: https://www.directv.com/support/internet/article/000095432 Once you have reset your device, go to Menu > System > Remotes & Devices on your TV. At the bottom of the screen, it will search for Bluetooth devices trying to pair. Your device will show on the screen, and you can select Connect. I've had difficulty connecting bluetooth devices like keyboards, that connect to many other devices. Also, once connected, often they need re-pairing again later. If you reset does not work, I hope DTV can start looking at the quality of the Bluetooth software support.

Having the same problem

Having the smae problem; have tried 4 different bluetooth headsets and none will pair with Gemeni air device.

Also, this is my second Gemeni air device and neither one will pair with any bluetooth devices.

AFAIK the Gemini Air is for the streaming service so you should try posting in the DTV via internet AKA DTV streaming forum.  This is the DTV sat forum.

The answer given isn’t working for me, and the agent I contacted using chat in the directv app insists that the Gemini air isn’t capable of connecting to Bluetooth.

My earbuds connect but once I pair them its like what's playing on TV pauses so I have to unpair my earbuds then the TV starts playing again. Why would it be doing this?

you say the video pauses when connecting BT earbuds? Try hitting the "play" "button" on your earbuds...

bluetooth steals ALL the audio...

I have done that. I click play and nothing.
