Downloading recorded programs from dvr to ipad

As recently as a month ago, I was able to download programs to my iPad and watch when offline on the old version of the app.  Now, neither the old version nor the new version works.  The old version has one program that has the green arrow, but it does nothing when tapped.  It doesn’t say it is being prepared, or in queue or nothing.  What has happened?  I would like step by step directions to make sure my device is still registed, etc.  Another weird thing is that a lot of my programs have been on my DVR for awhile and used to be ready to download and none of those have the green arrow.

I solved my own problem by unregistering my device (iPad) and registering it again.  Now my playlists match and the download option is working again…with the old app.

Yes, unfortunately there are bugs with the newer app that prevent you from downloading recordings. No one here knows when it will be fixed. 

Although, the older app should still work. What is the receiver model? Is the receiver connected to the same network as your iPad?

I believe so because it will allow me watch live TV.  However, it has not updated my Playlist and the recordings on my dvr do not match the Playlist on the old app.  And the programs listed look like they are only streaming shows.  BUT...on the new app, the Playlist matches my dvr.
