DVR error messages 721
I am at my wits end with all the (Edited per community guidelines) that you have to wade through to actually receive the service for which you pay. We pay over $180 month to AT & T and only occasionally do we get to watch the shows that we schedule to record. The DVR continues to change the scheduled channel to one that is not on our package. So it's just ridiculous! We have had 2 technicians come out to telll us that it's a "glitch with the genie programming" and that there isn't a solution. Huh...interesting that there isn't a refund or any mitigation for customers, when they are not receiving the services that they contracted for. I'm seriously REALLY DONE with this. I hope to convince the rest of my household to get on board with me and just cancel it all together. We don't have to use AT & T anymore for this.
Our DVR literally records the scheduled programs on channels that we do not have and ultimately we have missed multiple episodes of our favorite line up. The whole reason to have the DVR is to have the convenience to record shows. When I've called and spoke to the CS team, they do not offer a refund or credit, but they certainly do call at other times to offer more services that we do not want. This is the worst company and customer service that I've experienced in many years.

This is a known bug if it is trying to record the channels in the 390s the only known fix is to setup manual recordings.

It's not defaulting to channel 721. A 721 indicates the DVR is trying to record from a channel it does not have.
I have p;osted many times about this. It's a known problem probably something to do wuith the metadata associated with each program on the DNS channels
But I don't know why it is taking so long to fix.
