Genie code for sharp lc65p6000u tv

Cannot seem to get out RC73 remote to sync with our Sharp TV and our TV model is not listed in the listing.

Does anyone have the 5 digit code that will sync our directv remote to our Sharp LC65P6000U TV?

Let's get your Genie remote connected @esh21! Your code should be 12360. If not, try are code lookup tool.

Below is the most common way to program a Genie remote:

Program remote manually for your HDTV or audio device

Point the remote at your Genie HD DVR, Genie Mini, or Wireless Genie Mini.
Press and hold the MUTE and SELECT buttons while continuing to point the remote at a Genie device. Stop when the green light at the top of the remote blinks twice.
Use the buttons on your Genie remote to enter code 961.
Press the channel up button once.
Press Enter.
Select OK when the TV screen displays Your Remote is now setup for RF.
Power on the device you want your remote to control.
Press MENU on your remote.
Select Settings > Remote Control > Program Remote.
Select the device you wish to control with the remote.
Follow the on-screen prompts to complete programming. The directions vary for different devices.

Another step would be to, troubleshoot your Genie remote.

Heads up: Not all TV's will work with the DIRECTV remotes. Some may have limited functions like:

Controlling volume
Turning the TV on or off.

In some instances, trying other model codes may work for your TV. Searching other forums or online may help you find the best solution. If nothing works, you may need to purchase a true universal remote.
