Genie Remote won’t pair with Samsung TV after power outage
After power outage my Genie remote will not control volume on Samsung tv. It did before outage. Went thru the pairing sequence 5 times for all 37 codes but still no volume control with Genie remote.

-Press and hold mute and select until the light blinks.
-After releasing mute and select, type the numbers "9, 8, 1" in that order.
-You should see the light blink again on the remote after typing the above 3 numbers.
-Your remote should now be factory reset.
