Giene STB now has started to place image into a really small PIP after it goes into screensaver
I HATE the screen saver which is painfully quick to invoke itself after pausing a show , now it is putting video into a PIP which is't not easy to get back to full screen..
This Software is SO buggy and bad , DirecTv keep adding "features" but they are just making the product more and more buggy and absolutely NO benefit to the end user ....
Anyone else having this issue ?

Hi bradoz7, here to help!
You can find all the info related to How to use Picture-in-Picture (PIP) with Genie DVR here.
You can also turn off the feature by:
1. Turning off the receiver and keep it off in standby mode for 5 minutes.
2. Turn the receiver back on and PIP will be off.
3. If you want to get back into the feature, just press the down button.
In regards to your concerns about the screensaver, when it comes on you can get rid of it by changing your Directv settings this way:
1. On your remote, press 'Settings' and then select 'Power off. '
2. Close down your DirecTV for a few minutes and then turn it back on again.

You can't disable the screensaver. You can turn on/off the power saving mode by using the menu.
