Home adapter
I plugged home adapter into receiver it works but when I switch inputs and go back to direct tv there is no video signal I have tried different inputs on the receiver but same problem

What receiver models do you have? Why did you plug in the Home Adapter, for what purpose? Were you having this issue prior to getting the home adapter?

The receiver is a Sony 9.1 channel i plugged it in the receiver so I could get stereo sound when I watch tv I did not have this issue when I had a comcast receiver and have tried using different inputs on the receiver and it’s the same issue. When I change inputs on the receiver and go back to direct tv there is no signal until I unplug it

A Connected Home Adapter only removes the internet signal from the coax to provide it to the DTV receivers Ethernet port has nothing to do with the picture.
