Internet for hd on directv
After a recent update, internet is required for all HD programming. This is not for on demand, this is live TV. If directv does not xhange this it will cost them at least one customer. I've seen a directv employee on here giving advice on the fact that internet is not required for HD, this is not correct. I was watching HD programming a couple of days ago, today I cannot watch HD programming without an internet setup.

Hi there. To enjoy all your live TV programming at the best resolution, you would only need a compatible 4K HD TV with a 4K HD Genie Mini and be authorized to view and purchase HD content. You shouldn't have any problem watching this resolution. Also, there are some channels that are available for HD resolution. However, remember, if you use Stream service, we recommend you to use at least 500+ Mbps, this way, you can do anything with your service.
