How do I disable voice over when depressing the volume button?

Was able to fix the issue using the tv’s remote control under settings. Thank you to everyone who responded

What is the receiver model and TV brand? What do you mean by ‘depressing’ volume button?
When pressing the volume button up or down the voiceover repeats, volume up or volume down. I want to disable that feature

I'm guessing that's a TV setting, not a DirecTV box setting. As previously requested, what TV brand/model, DirecTV box model?
It’s an LG tv. This is my parents tv, my Dad had been messing around with the remote control and somehow turned this feature on and doesn’t know how to turn it off now
