my new Directv remote will not turn off my T V, it turns off my genie & brings up my tv apps, try again & same thing happens.
my new DirecTV remote will not turn off my TV, it does turn off the menu & then brings up the TV apps....I have tried several times, but same thing happens

Thanks, I tried resetting remote to factory default....it removed the apps, but still will not turn off my sharp TV & now, will not pair with my TV, I went thru all the settings & none of them worked (it did pair with TV yesterday)

I have a new 32" Vizio model HD tv and the RC-7 remote will not power off tv. Vol. & channel work fine, but it will not power off tv. There is only 1 code for this model and it finds it when programmed.
