Pairing DirectTV Genie Remote with Samsung TU8300
Hi-
I just purchased a new Samsung TU8300. I have tried EVERYTHING and cannot get my genie to pair. It had previously been paired with a sony TV. I would really appreciate help!

Learn how to program your Genie remote to control an HDTV, a DIRECTV Ready TV, and audio devices such as a soundbar.
Choose the device (TV, audio, DVD) you wish to program. If you don’t see your TV or device listed, use the code lookup tool to find the 5-digit code.
For Samsung DIRECTV Ready TVs, enter 54000.

What model remote are you using if it's white RC6(5)X -It's too old to have your New TV codes --Call D*TV 1800-531-5000 or go to Amazon or ebay and get a RC73 remote

If you are using a "WHITE (D*TV Remote) or a RC71 --you Remote is too old for your NEW TV --It does not contain the New codes --You need a Newer D*TV Remote --ask D* 1-800-531-5000 to request one be sent if you have the PP --if not you can order one from D* or Ebay or Amazon
