PC laptop connection

I can't watch DirecTV on my laptop. Is there a way to download the DirecTV app onto a pc laptop? I can watch ESPN on my laptop by going to DirecTV.com and clicking the "online" link - but every show selected from the guide stops at 85% and freezes the computer - except for ESPN channels. They play fine. The DirecTV app works great on my phone. How can I watch live shows from the guide on my laptop?

The DIRECTV Video Guard player has always been an issue for many people on laptop. In general, these amenities were always meant for tablets and phones. Back in the old days, the website would work great for this, but now DIRECTV has definitely changed gears to improve more on the mobile and tablet experience.

You can still watch the on-demand and live stream of each channel through a handy feature called TV Everywhere. This enables the customer to use their DIRECTV credentials to gain access to each network's online service. However, this is not a feature on all networks, only some. Give it a try, search for the channel online and sign in via TV Provider and choose DIRECTV.

TO download it into a laptop, that is theoretically POSSIBLE. Get an Android emulator like BlueStacks or Nox Player and go to the ‘Android Google Play Store’ on the emulator to install the DIRECTV app. It looks identical to the one on an Android phone.
