Please Help Pairing my Panasonic BluRay SA-BTT405

Remote RC71
My remote quit operating the Panasonic listed in the subject so I tried some stuff on my own. First let me tell you how it was working. Power on turned on Genie, TV and Panasonic. Volume and mute worked for Panasonic and all other buttons were Genie. Power off turned off all three.
First I reset the remote and then tried to use the onboard menu to program remote and noticed that audio options no longer available, only TV option available.
So I tried manually entering the following codes, 33323 (red light when completed 5 digit code), 33409 (no red light when completed 5 digit code but no flashing green indicating success, volume was still TV volume) 33767 (red light when completed 5 digit code) 32967 (red light when completed 5 digit code) 33055 (no red light when completed 5 digit code but no flashing green indicating success, volume was still TV volume).
Are there any other codes? The codes that begin with 2 I immediately get a red light when I press the first 2.
I unplugged the audio cable from Panasonic to the TV and re-plugged it in prior to checking the codes.
Any help will be appreciated!

The RC71 remote can't control any BluRay players. I'm guessing you were utilizing "HDMI CEC" to synchronize the power on/off and source selection across your devices. Check your TV & BluRay player for "HDMI CEC control".

When I say control the BluRay player I only meant to the extent that when I hit Power On for the DirecTV remote the TV, Genie and Panasonic would all turn on and I could control the sound with my DirecTV remote. If I wanted to actually use the BluRay I did have to use that remote.
HDMI CEC was selected in the TV settings and I just checked and couldn't find a HDMI setting in the BluRay. DirecTV and BluRay are listed as sources on the Samsung TV but the Power On/Off only works for TV and DirecTV, no longer works for the BluRay. I wish I had written down what code I used before.
Do I need a different remote because the audio options are much greater for the RC66?
I seem to remember to get it working the way I wanted I had to program the DirecTV remote for the Panasonic and it looks like I can't do that with the existing codes.
