Programming DirecTV remote to TCL TV
My DirecTV went kaput and they sent an exact Universal remote replacement. My TCL TV is not on the Settings, TV List. I checked numerous sources online and found multiple codes, none of which work to program the new remote. DirecTV support is useless. Any suggestions?

Have you tried code 12049? Others have had success with that one.

I am having the same problem with TCL model 43Q570F. The Directv remote works perfectly with the exception of no volume control. There is a yellow mini sound jack in the back of the Genie and one on the TV. Itried hooking those two up direct but it didn't solve the problem.
