Unfortunately, you cannot delete purchase history as this is protected for the sake of the account holder. However, if you order several other purchases, these last couple purchases will disappear.
Well that's not going to happen, only have 4 purchases since I started back about 5 years ago. Can a person upgrade the dvr so the past info is gone? If this is the case I will switch back to Dish.
The purchase history of your DVR cannot be deleted because they are stored in your access card. It is a purposeful decision to protect the records of the content purchased in the account.
Another option might be rent or purchase new entries, so newer purchase entries replace oldest entries. By the way, thanks for your reply @detuch254.
@73tawm yes, a new receiver will wipe the purchase history of the old one. What is the model number of your current receiver? It can be found in the access card door where it says "OPEN." If you already have a Genie DVR, the only replacement would likely be a Genie client.
Hey @73tawm , let's check the options to upgrade or replace your DIRECTV equipment.
Let's meet in a Direct Message to take a closer look on this. Please check your DIRECTV Message Inbox (It's the chat icon next to the bell icon in the upper right corner of the Forums)
Since there's technically nothing wrong with your genie it will cost you to upgrade it a genie 2 is $399.00 +tax if applicable, with a 24 month commitment also your recordings will be lost since they don't transfer. @detuch254 a new receiver doesn't "wipe" the purchase history of the old one, that's misleading, the purchase history will always be on the old access card each receiver comes with it's own access card.

Yes it is the Genie and I have a small unit in the bedroom as well. How do I find out my options for upgrading the dvr? Thank you.
