RC65x remote controlling a JVC tv

RC65x remote is programmed to control my JVC tv, including the TV input button at top left.  I can press the button and the listing of sources comes up.  I can then highlight the source I want, BUT, I cannot figure out what button to press to activate that source.

Hi @bdbdavis, thanks for reaching out. We're here to help you with your RC-65 remote.

When you press the input button what are you doing next?

Have you tried pressing the orange select button in the middle of the remote, or the enter button at the bottom right to make your selection?

We may want to do a reprogram of the remote if this does not resolve for you.

Please let us know how it goes.

Usually, the TV automatically clicks on the input by itself after a few moments. If not, switch the mode to TV on the RC65 and press ‘SELECT’

Performed a factory reset on RC65x  remote, went through all the JVC remote codes and found five codes that would work in changing channels, changing volume, bringing up the menu,  and pulling up the inputs with the TV/input button, but once I've landed on the input I want to change to .... in this case, the HDMI -1 .... can find no select button or any other button that actually selects my choice.  The TV input button does scroll down to the input I want to choose, but once there no way to launch that input.  Any ideas??

If you wait several seconds after highlighting the desired AV INPUT does the TV select it?

Hello @bdbdavis, we understand the usage you want to give to our universal control.

Our remote controls are guaranteed to program to your DIRECTV receiver. They operate most devices; however your TV or other components may not be compatible with our remote control. (For example, use the remote that came with the TV.)

You can click HERE for more details about our remotes, and how to program them.

Litzdog,

No.  If I pause on the input I'm wanting, and wait without pressing any further buttons, the TV input menu simply times out and reverts back to the TV input and channel I was attempting to change from.
