RECIEVER WILL NOT GENERATE PIN
Just got a new receiver. It is now working. BUT, when I try to generate a PIN for my 2nd room, I get as far as the "Add client" screen. Then it sits on a screen that says "Network operation is in progress. It may take up to five minutes. Please wait".
After several minutes I am just take back to the main menu, with no PIN being generated.

What is the model number of the main Genie receiver? What is the model number of your other boxes as well as the new box that DIRECTV sent? Have you tried a red button reset on ALL receivers? (Right side for Genie clients as well as HR54 series or front where it says ‘PUSH’ for other models)

Model HR 54-500 for the new main receiver.
Model C31-700
I have reset the button for the C31. The HR 54 was just installed yesterday.

Directv did not send you a C31 as a replacement. Those are first generation DIRECTV clients that are underpowered and should have never been sent in the first place (if it was). Can you reconfirm the model number of the Genie client? And, is it just these two boxes?

And no, Direct did not send the C31 as a replacement. It was the original unit on our 2nd TV.
