Remote code for TCL 55S435 TV

What DVR/Receiver model number do you have?

It is an HR21/700

OK. That's the correct remote model for your HR21. Try the RCA TV codes. 

Well, I have been through the RCA codes and still no luck. Any other ideas?

I talked to tech support. They still don’t have any codes for this tv. Do I wait? Do return this tv?  Do I change satellite service? Do I just keep trying codes?  Help!

I would try a manual remote programming procedure.

 Ensure your TV is Powered ON

1st - Put remote device selector in TV mode(far right);

2nd - Press Mute + Select (at same time) for approx. 4 sec. until TV blinks green twice

3rd - Then press 991, light will blink green twice once again.

4th - Press 1 to select TV Codes, 

5th - Press PWR once,

6th - The press CHAN/PAGE Up or Down over and over until the TV cuts off 

7th - Once TV cuts off, you will press select, the green light will blink twice under TV

Notes: If you pass the code, or press up or down after the TV cuts off, you can do the opposite to get back to the code. if you miss it, press select to stop, and then start over going the other direction.

Well I can turn off and on the tv now. I can increase the volume- but I can NOT turn it down!  Thank you for your help- this is crazy!
